We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Creative Media Lecturer to join our team. This role involves teaching students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3, and working closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to every student.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Creative Media lessons to students across various levels.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department.
- Use your industry experience to inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.
- Play a key role in promoting the courses across the Creative Media curriculum area, participating in marketing events and sharing your experiences as a Media Specialist.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
- Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging way.
- Efficient administration skills to support good student record-keeping.
